Mirrorfield 2009
In this exhibition, a low mirrored plane of water interracts with the viewer as well as the quality of light and air in the room. The walls become canvasses of reflected light which resopnd to the actions within the space.
The presence of the viewer is recorded by a motion sensor and translated to a paddle action in the tank. Vibrations of footsteps on the floor translate into patterns of light on the walls and ceiling.
