salt, light, floor
65 x 600 x 600cm

In this exhibition, the shiny floor of the Peloton Gallery space reflects both the viewer and a large 250kg cast salt hemisphere which creates a fluid reflection that simultaneously floats over and submerges into the floor. The work ( the object and the reflective floor) is dependent on the ambient light and the position of the viewer in the room. An interaction of salt and air cause the surface of the salt to slowly crystalize and grow.
